Pecan and Chocolate Chip Tart

Adding chocolate chips to pecan pie filling, makes a wonderful dessert.  Give it a try, and share the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • recipe for pecan pie filling

Directions:

1.     Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2.     Fold chocolate chips into pecan pie filling.
3.     Pour into an unbaked pie shell.
4.     Bake for 40-50 minutes until filling is set.

Twist: Pecan pie with chocolate chips baked in a tart pan. Garnish with chocolate.
